2019, we’re coming for you…
Now that we’ve eaten the last mince pie, and the baileys is down to the final dregs, its time to start thinking about 2019 and what our plans are for the upcoming year. But before we think ahead, we wanted to reflect on the past 12 months, and what we have achieved here at Elbowroom.
First and foremost, we continued to work with some great people – many of them being long standing cleints who we have loved working with regularly and have continued to strengthen our professional ongoing relationships with. We have also been lucky enough to work with lots of new faces, who we hope will continue to use us in the coming year. We want to thank all our clients both old and new, and wish them all the best for 2019!
The projects we have worked on have continued to be very varied, which we love! We created new websites, animations and branding suites. Creative marketing material, brochures, wedding stationary and much more. We also expanded our printing provision, with many of our clients taking advantage of the fantastic quality and value we are able to supply.
We added to the team, with me (Hayley) joining as Operations Director and Ross as junior designer. This has enabled us to increase and streamline our workflow process, resulting in quicker turnaround time, as well as enhanced customer service.
We had some personal challenges to overcome, which only proved to make us stronger. Rich completed a 200 mile coast to coast bike-ride challenge, raising an amazing £1285 for Cancer Research UK, as well as jokes aplenty about derrière soreness…
Our goals for 2019 are primarily to continue to grow our client base, connecting with both local and national businesses through networking events, social media and word of mouth.
We want to strengthen our team, engaging with creative freelancers as well as hopefully recruiting further to our in-house family.
We have a new website that is almost ready to go live, which we are really excited about. The purpose of refreshing this is to bring our online “shop window” up to date with where we are as a business. With Elbowroom beginning its life many years ago as a freelance business, we are keen to ensure that the new site showcased us as the agency we are now. It will show off more indepth case-studies, giving detailed results of some of the work we’ve done and how it helped our clients.
There will be a new online store as well as a print portal, further expanding our offerings.
We will endeavour to live by our values; “Quality, Value, Bespoke, Service” – which underpins our ethos as a friendly professional agency.
With 80% of new years resolutions failing by February, we’ll be working hard to make sure we’re part of the 20% that succeed. With no gym based ones in there, we’re already on to a winner!
